Came to this thread cause I was looking into deleting my own account.
Just wanted to say that maybe there should be a disclaimer when a person creates an account that it is permanent? I don't remember ever seeing such a disclaimer when I made my account.
(Actually, just tested by making a throwaway, there definitely isn't one)
I don't think it's unreasonable for users to assume the option of account deletion is a given, since it *is* on basically every other website with user accounts. Why *would* users "look into" such a thing beforehand if it's a given everywhere else?
Anyway, just a thought given there isn't already a disclaimer. Seeing how many account deletion requests you get, putting a disclaimer on the registration page could help you guys a lot as well.
(Also if this isn't the correct way to get the mods' attention, please let me know)

There should be a way for a user to delete their account themselves. It's quite retarded, that there isn't and the mods shouldn't complain, that people come to them requesting it.

But the mods on this site are....peculiar, to keep it civil.

It use to be a thing until people abuse it by creating and asking to deleted it mere days or hours later.

Sure, a disclaimer should be given.

A way to change the password too.but alas,there is not.

Besides, it gets annoying to deal with people asking all the time like spoiled kids.

Don't want to be here?Just DONT LOG IN, and don't say it because you have a problem,is so easy to create an account that deleted your account to not be here is not a solution, really is easier to blacklist this website or get professional help.

If the reason to deleted your account if because you're afraid or ashame of what you uploaded,that a you problem. Deleting it won't erese the log on the server,like what user name and ip uploaded what.

Yeah,english is not my native language, and I don't care if I have a perfect grammar, only to be understood by most so the message can get to them.

If the rest of the message is not to your liking, I don't care. I just given an answer to the question from the info I have. We mods CAN NOT ban people, we CAN NOT deleted their account.

You may remember when deleting an account was a thing and since then, other mods and admins have given the reason why it is no longer available.
